TRACK-YOUR-SUBMISSION
Information that authors and reviewers may use. 01. Received manuscripts are assigned Submission Number, each author is notified. 02. Quality of articles published is essential. 03. Senior Editor or Editor previews each article for its quality and suitability for publication in AEQ. 04. Once accepted, a submission is slated for review and (from now on) is listed in "Track-Your-Submission." 05. If you do not see your number, please be patient, your submission has not passed the initial cut yet... 06. Academic Exchange uses "double blind" review process. 07. Peer reviewers come from AEQ Editorial Staff and may select any manuscript. 08. Occasionally, AEQ may invite a subject specialist outside journal's staff. 09. Reviewers are asked to judge the merits of a manuscript according to Manuscript Reviewing Guidelines by Linda Serra Hagedorn. 10. A manuscript is conditionally accepted for publication after receiving three positive reviews, "yyy." 11. A publication date is assigned by letters: "s, x, f, w." 12. A manuscript with more than one "r" requires revision by the author. 13. Need help in revising your submission? AEQ offers "Mentor Program," whereby you will be paired with an experienced author/teacher/expert in the subject of your writing. Jointly, you would go through the publication process: exploring your ideas, reviewing bibliography, and working through revisions suggested by reviewers. Please, contact The Editor. 14. Copy Editor does the final editing and assigns a firm publication date. 15. Proofreader does the final reading of the manuscript. 16. Editor, at all times, serves as a liaison between authors and AEQ.
